Aboriginal Hostels Limited is seeking tender applications from suitably qualified Contractor/s to deliver design and construct security upgrade works located in Darwin and Alice Springs.

AHL wishes to enhance its security infrastructure at the AHL facilities located in Darwin (four hostels) and Alice Springs (three hostels). We are seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms for the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and appropriate lighting enhancements, if required, to ensure adequate imagery is provided.  

The CCTV system to be installed is to allow real time monitoring for prevention of intruders and facilitate responses to security incidents within the grounds where a barrier breach has occurred. Data and images must also be retained for any compliance action and police investigations that maybe required following an incident on our grounds. As such, data captured and storage must comply with all privacy legislation (federal and state) and storage is to be in accordance with AHL IT requirements. 

Mandatory site inspections will be conducted at 10.00am Monday 8 May in Darwin, and 10.00am Tuesday 9 May 2018 in Alice Springs.
