The University of Melbourne invites proposals from experienced companies for the provision of specialist prescribed waste collection service. The University of Melbourne requires service provider to collect and remove various types of waste from multiple sites across various campus locations both in Victorian suburban and rural areas.

The service provider is to take a holistic approach to the specialist waste management providing a service that manages chemical and clinical waste and disposal and recycling (where possible). In an efficient and cost effective manner.

The service provider must work closely with The University of Melbourne and take a lead on waste reduction and meet the requirements of clients.

The service provider will be responsible for the co-ordination, collection, scheduling and data collection of:
* Chemical waste and chemical disposal and/or
* Clinical waste, cytotoxic waste, GMO and quarantine waste.

The scope of works including campus locations, client locations, receptacle numbers, waste quantities and frequency of collections are provided as part of this tender.
