Tender Description
The scope of this work package is the Transportation and Installation of the Barossa Gas Export Pipeline(GEP)- a 26”, high pressure subsea pipeline approximately 260km long.
This work package is associated with the below work package listed independently on the ICN Gateway:

The work package scope is outlined below.
Anticipated Contract Award- Q4 2019
Anticipated Delivery Date- Q2 2022
Supply of Project Management and Associated Services
* Provision of project management and associated services, including:
* Engineering
* Project management
* Quality assurance and control
* Procurement, sourcing and construction management
* HSE;
* Logistics and transportation
* Associated services and support
* As a minimum, all works will be completed under approved:
* Quality Management System (QMS) and project-specific Quality Management Plan
* HSE Management Plan
* Procurement and Subcontractor Management Plan
* Australian Industry Participation guidelines and approved AIP Plan
Transport & Installation of Export Pipeline
* Transportation and installation of the Gas Export Pipeline, from the seabed near the Barossa FPSO location, to a proposed tie-in point on the Bayu-Undan export pipeline;
* The characteristics of the Gas Export Pipeline can be summarised as:
* Nominally 260km
* 26” carbon steel DNV 450 grade
* Externally coated with asphalt enamel and concrete weight coat, and internally coated with epoxy
* Water depths ranging from 35m to 250m;
* Pre-lay survey (approximately 12 weeks prior to installation) to confirm there is no debris, unexpected obstacles or changed seabed conditions along the pipe lay route that were not noted in prior route surveys:
* Light subsea construction vessel;
* ROV
* Pre-lay Span Correction along the pipeline route, including:
* Procurement, transportation and handling of concrete mattresses and other materials as required (i.e. anti-scour mats/skirts, grout bags, rock bags);
* Light subsea construction vessel;
* Offshore craneage;
* ROV.
* Transportation of linepipe from the coating yard to the Pipelay vessel(s);
* Installation of the 260km Gas Export Pipeline, including:
* Pipelay vessel, marine crew and associated offshore support
* Welding, NDT/AUT (GMAW welding system)
* Welding procedure qualification and welder training will be performed onshore prior to offshore installation operations
* Pipelay parameter control and monitoring during lay
* Surface preparation (automated grit blasting process) and Field Joint Coating (Heat Shrink Sleeves)
* Post lay survey and span correction, including
* Pipe lay support light construction vessel, marine crew and associated offshore support
* Offshore craneage
* ROV
* Procurement, transportation and handling of grout bags/inflated mattresses/pyramid supports, and other materials as required
* Flooding, cleaning, gauging and hydrotesting of the installed gas export pipeline
* Dewatering and pre-conditioning of the gas expert pipeline
* Design, fabrication and installation of pipeline end termination structures
