Request for Quote 2018 Darwin Street Art Festival

In 2017 the inaugural Darwin Street Art Festival was held and over a ten day period. Eight walls were transformed into amazing artworks that captured the interest and imagination of Territorians.

This year we’re looking to build on this success, as well as introduce new elements to the Festival to ensure it continues to be a reason for visitation, as well as provide retail opportunities and energise the CBD.

The Northern Territory Major Events Company is looking for proposals from experienced event managers in response to a Request for Quote (RFQ) to develop, manage and produce the Darwin Street Art Festival.

Proposals must include:
* strategic and operational approach for the implementation of the Darwin Street Art Festival. The plan must demonstrate an understanding of the Darwin CBD, as well as a framework to engage with key stakeholders
* approach to secure and engage national/international and local artists, as well as the buildings/walls to be painted as part of the Festival.
* creative theme/approach, recognising that the artwork must include a connection with the Territory – this could be represented through colour palette, unique fauna and flora, or the people that live here.

Proposals must be submitted by Friday, 1 June at 4.00pm (ACST).
