2018 Expression of Interest Sandringham Primary School Canteen Operator Sandringham Primary School (SPS) has a wonderful history, opening in 1855 with 11 students, and is one of Australias oldest primary schools. Today we have 500 students, 40 staff members and understand a school only exists to meet the aspirations, needs and education of our children.

Our vision is to develop, in partnership with the whole community, an effective, caring and dynamic learning community. This learning community is founded on an educational philosophy centred on the child and grounded in the belief that all children can learn and have a right to become effective learners.

After many years with the same Canteen Operator, SPS has the opportunity for a fresh start and is looking for a new Canteen Operator that can fit within our SPS community and provide healthy food to both students and teachers. SPS is proposing an initial canteen license term of three (3) years.

With a review at the end of the initial three (3) year period, which may provide for the selected operator an additional three (3) year term. A pro-forma licence agreement will be entered into with the successful Canteen Operator, which mandates the use of the 2012 Department of Education Healthy Canteen Kit and can be viewed at: (www.education.vic.gov.au/school/teachers/health/Pages/canteendown.aspx).

A SPS 2018 Canteen Tender document is available upon request, this will provide interested parties with further information. The SPS 2018 Canteen Tender submissions will close on Friday 15 June 2018, with the successful Canteen Operator notified on Thursday 28 June 2018, with the anticipated start on Monday 16 July 2018.
