Kogarah RSL Club is an established RSL club located within Kogarah Shire. The Club has entered a joint venture agreement with the property developer Capital Bluestone which involves the transformation of the ex-club site into a $148 M mixed use commercial and residential development.

The development includes the provision of a brand-new state of the art club and a 215 seat restaurant which will have a 15m wide dedicated shopfront, plus direct access from Railway Parade. The grand opening is anticipated in April 2019.

The new venue has access to the biggest Chinese heritage market in Sydney and a strong local residential and surrounding commercial market, all very close to transport and parking.

Kogarah RSL is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Contract Caterers that are willing to join them on this Club's journey and to realise their potential.

The successful caterer will control and operate the designated restaurant which will be fully fitted out and include a fully functional commercial kitchen that can cater to a capacity of up to 215 people in approximately 500 m2 of space. It is a 7 day lunch and dinner operation. The caterer will have the unique opportunity to provide input into the kitchen layout and equipment and key dining room design specifications.

Competitive commercial terms including rental expectations and other expenses will be discussed with successful applicants once the EOI process has been completed.

The successful candidate will:
* Have a passion for Asian cuisine and culture
* Proven experience in providing quality and consistent meals in a fast-paced environment as well as providing catering services for functions and events
* Work with Club Management to drive visitation, customer retention and club advocacy via the delivery of an optimal customer experience
* Be customer service focused with respect to both front and back of house requirements
* Have the relevant qualifications, accreditations and insurances in place
