Founded in 1994 by the current Managing Director and Executive Chairman, Mick Boyle, Abergeldie has grown significantly within the last 10 years both through organic growth and through acquisition.
The group has offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne with satellite offices in Canberra and Newcastle. Abergeldie currently employs approximately 400 people in a variety of roles and operates across a wide range of construction, infrastructure, mining, tunnelling, engineering and remedial contracts.
Having expanded, significantly, over the last few years, Abergeldie is set to continue its growth into the future with a planned doubling of turnover over the next two years.
Current Management and IT systems are stretched to their limit and require excessive amounts of manual activity to deliver the information required for the business to succeed going forward.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Business Management Systems Integration project (BMSI) is to rationalise the current Management system content to make it less cumbersome and more effective. At the same time, the BMSI team has developed a two stage Systems Requirement Specification for potential IT partners to further develop and bid upon. The anticipated timeframe for purchase and implementation of this new IT is to have final options consideration and a subsequent decision by the end of August 2018.
