The Northern Territory Government’s Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics has awarded the contract to construct Barneson Boulevard & Tiger Brennan Drive Duplication Stage 3 to Territoria Civil.

The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 involves the construction of Barneson Boulevard, approximately 1km of new four lane road to connect Dinah Beach Road with Cavenagh Street. Phase 2 of the works is a full reconstruction of approximately 800m of Tiger Brennan Drive to provide two lanes in each direction between Dinah Beach Road and Bennett Street.

These works require significant underground services (drainage, electrical, water & sewer), blockwork & concrete retaining walls, ground improvement of existing mangrove mud, extensive landscaping and the installation and commissioning of three sets of traffic lights.
