AITSL is seeking quotes to develop, run and evaluate a video classroom observation pilot to assess the level of comparability between in-person classroom observation used for national teacher certification and classroom observation using video. This includes an overview of existing research, the development of research methodology and recommendations for future scalability.
They relate to the following research questions:
1. What is the level of comparability, reliability and validity between the current in-person classroom observation and a video observation model to be piloted?
2. What are the conditions under which a video observation replacement would work best?
