Tender Description

The proposed Project Sea Dragon (Stage 1) black tiger prawn grow out facility is located at Legune, Northern Territory, approximately 100km north east of Kununurra. PSD is a large-scale, integrated, land-based prawn aquaculture project that will deliver high-quality, year-round reliable volumes for export markets. PSD will be a staged development of ultimately up to 10,000 hectares of produce ponds. This stage is 400 hectares of produce ponds.

This package is for the design, supply and construction of a marine structure extending approximately 150 meters from the river bank into Forsyth creek. The structure will support large pumps and discharge piping and will be subject to significant tidal movement. Pumps and piping will be supplied free issue, and the contractor will install these.

In addition to the structure on Forsyth creek, the package will also include another design and construction component for an outlet structure for farm discharge water. This structure will be located on the bank of Alligator creek which is located approximately 20 kilometres from the Forsyth creek work.
