The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) invites expressions for the provision of an events management service to increase awareness of the 2018 Victorian State election and celebrate Victoria's democracy on election night.

The Democracy Live program consists of four metropolitan locations during the month of November, culminating in a public celebration of Victoria's democracy at Federation Square on election night. The VEC is seeking a service provider to:
* develop comprehensive project plan, including a risk identification and mitigation plan, a stakeholder communication plan and evaluation and closure report
* liaise effectively with key stakeholders and obtain permits/permissions relating to site attendances and public safety
* coordinate any collateral required
* recruit street marketers and organise training
* provide an appropriate selection of acts (bands/street entertainers/DJ) for the Federation Square event.

Suppliers considering responding to this Expression of Interest (EOI) should have a proven record in the provision of high quality event management services, particularly with regard to the use of street marketers and activations to increase awareness of a product or service.
