The Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) shall be a single database, distributed-type control system incorporating a robust, open and reliable architecture.

The Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) comprise of the following:

• Process Control System (PCS)
• Emergency / Process Shutdown System (ESD/PSD)
• Fire & Gas System (FGS)

The SUPPLIER scope of work shall include both hardware and software for the System. The numbers of cards and processors shall be sized to accommodate the I/O counts delineated including system sparing, I/O assignment, processor utilizations and cabinets required.

In addition to the equipment required, the Supplier shall include the following in their scope of supply:

• Performance guarantee
• Software licences
• ABS certification
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Shipyard Acceptance Test (SAT)
• Offshore pre-commissioning and Commissioning assistance

The Supplier to include the following services as an option:

• Participation in HAZOP Workshop
• Participation in Alarm management study
• Participation in SIL Workshop
• Participation in Ergonomics study

The Supplier to take note of the following requirements in their design:

• Safety Instrumented System (SIS) – (ESD/PSD & FGS)
• Supplier shall guarantee that hardware, firmware and software for the system will be supported for at least 20 years of life of the installation
• Equipment installed in hazardous area shall be certified for Zone 1 Group II B Temp T3 at minimum
• Equipment installed outdoor shall be certified IP 66 and indoor equipment room shall be IP 41 at minimum, except for server cabinets
• SIS shall be provided with SIL3 TUV certified controllers
• The SIS hardware/software shall be certified to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511
• Equipment shall be suitable for offshore marine environment
• Smart (HART protocol) type instruments are used. Instruments shall generally be loop powered 24VDC
• Structural design of cabinet shall be suitable for installation on a FPSO
• Cabinets installed outdoors shall be 316L SS and painted to RAL 7035
• All electrical equipment installed in hazardous areas shall be certified for the area in accordance with IEC Ex
• Supplier should provide an option for future remote operation at Onshore, activities associated with operation, maintenance and engineering that
• can be performed at the FPSO via the COMPANY (ConocoPhillips) IT Network.
