Expression of Interest for Subdivision Engineering Design Consultant Residential Precincts

Australand Corporation (NSW) Pty Ltd (a wholly owned entity of Frasers Property Australia) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the detailed engineering design of subdivision delivery at the Shell Cove project. Successful EOI's will be placed on a panel and be invited to tender for future stages within the development.

Shell Cove is a masterplanned coastal development in the Shellharbour LGA (approximately one hour south of Sydney southern suburbs) which is being developed jointly by Australand and Shellharbour City Council. The project includes the development of a significant regional boat harbour, marina and associated residential precincts.

Successful EOI candidates will be invited to tender for future engineering design services for residential precincts inclusive of construction certificate documentation, service authority approval documentation, managing and obtaining all construction approvals, as well as tender and construction documentation. The broad scope of works for this package includes:

Design works for greenfield subdivision;
Bulk earthworks design for cut and fill platforms;
Detailed design of road networks including main avenues with WSUD elements, connecting streets, laneways and a variety of threshold treatments;
Stormwater drainage modelling and design;
Sewer and water reticulation design, and water service coordinator role during construction;
Electrical reticulation design, and;

Design of sediment and erosion control measures for environmental protection during construction.
Consultant organisations must be capable of demonstrating:

A proven track record in completion of engineering design for urban subdivision and associated infrastructure on large scale projects. Details of completed projects and client referees to be provided;

Ability to produce high quality documentation within required timeframes. An example of a completed design package for a similar subdivision project is to be provided;

Experienced internal resources across various disciplines capable of delivering the works to a high standard and within the project's development program; and

Demonstrated resourcing and financial capacity to complete this design contract.

Consultants selected from the EOI process will be invited to submit a tender for the design work. This tender will follow shortly after completion of the EOI process.
