The purpose of this procurement is to identify a suitable Provider to design and deliver a program of support in Competency-Based Training and Assessment Strategies in Logistics.

This program of support in Competency-Based Training and Assessment Strategies in Logistics is aimed at building on the successes of previous Aus4Skills Program workshops and short courses for vocational education and training (VET) providers in order to:
train academic managers, VETcollege teachers and enterprise trainers in competency-based training and assessment strategies for agreed occupational standards (OS) and occupational skills standards (OSS) for logistics in Vietnam (i.e. a structured program designed to enable a learner to gain the skills and knowledge of the agreed OS and OSS);
develop national learning outcomes from the OS and OSS for the positions of logistics administrator and material handling operator based on this competency-based training and assessment strategy; and
facilitate trials of training delivery of one OS with logistics enterprises and partner colleges, and work with existing delivery partners in assisting the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and VET colleges in developing a case study about these trials use by logistics enterprises and the newly established Logistics Industry Reference Council.

The lead Tenderer must be an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and preferably an Australian logistics TVET provider. Preference will be given to Tenderers who have institutional experience and demonstrated technical capacity in competency-based training and assessment delivery strategy in logistics, particularly in Vietnam.
