There is an opportunity for community organisations to explore innovative approaches to providing support and services for these groups within a corrections environment.

As such, the Department of Justice and Regulation invites not-for-profit community organisations that have capacity to provide prison-based programs and services, to respond with Applications that focus on providing welfare-based support to prisoners and their families. In doing so, services should aim to strengthen family and community ties and reduce the impact of imprisonment and risk of reoffending.
