Upper Hunter Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled and experienced professional shooters for an urban deer control program to be undertaken in Murrurundi, NSW.

Professional commercial shooter/s will be engaged under a nil fee for service agreement to harvest deer in an urban and rural residential landscape.

Essential criteria:

* Current NSW Firearms Licence
* Current Commercial Harvesters (Kangaroo) Licence
* Current NSW General Commercial Game Hunting Licence
* Current NSW Food Authority Licence/accredited vehicle
* Current arrangement to supply local game meat field depot
* Public Liability Insurance $20 million
* Other relevant insurances

Preferred:

* Current Commissioners permits for use of noise suppressor/silencer
* Night Vision/Thermal equipment

Interested persons should provide details of their experience with commercially harvesting deer, as well as references.
