ARENA is establishing this role to develop funding initiatives that align with ARENA's investment priorities and corporate plan. The role is to build on, adapt and implement elements of ARENA's strategy.

The strategy analyst will consult with electricity industry participants, customer groups, equipment vendors, start-ups, governments and the research and development community; oversee or conduct studies and analysis; and support work across ARENA's teams.

The objective is to develop two to three funding initiatives, or multiple smaller initiatives, up to the point of being open to proposals from potential grant recipients, including establishing key program documentation and informing executive and Board decisions.

The major focus is expected to be on distributed energy resources, with potential for a contribution to other initiatives as required.
