The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is seeking to engage an industry leading partner to deliver fully managed ICT Services and Solutions over the next five years.
The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is seeking to engage an industry leading partner to deliver fully managed ICT Services and Solutions over the next five years.
The initial contract will be a total of 36 months with 2 x 12 months extensions, to be exercised at the discretion of TEQSA.
The following summarises the services TEQSA is seeking to engage from the new service provider:
* Migrate and implement a new TEQSA ICT environment to deliver/replace existing ICT capabilities and consolidate or simplify where possible;
* Service & Support – Support our users with a service desk capability;
* Standard Operating Environment (SOE) – Maintain a TEQSA SOE;
* Monitor and manage all services across the TEQSA ICT landscape including devices;
* Provide IT Service Management processes and tool(s);
* Where practicable Microsoft Products/ technology to be use in the first instance,
* Asset Management;
* Unified Communications – delivering contemporary IP telephony and video conferencing to our TEQSA users enabling instant messaging;
* Messaging and Email – shift current state email capability to a modern cloud offering;
* End User Security – maintain and manage devices across the enterprise;
* Cloud Hosted Environments – utilising Platforms or Infrastructure as a Service;
* Core Enablers – Core Compute, Network, Storage, Infrastructure and Domain Environment;
* Storage Management – Deliver file and network storage for all users and applications;
* Integration – manage and support our current links; and
* Device Management – provision, maintain and assist manage our fleet of devices.
TEQSA will be not be procuring any hardware under this proposal – we are seeking a holistic approach/solution therefore the proposal must make the assumption that all infrastructure is provided under the engagement and will be cloud first where possible.
