This Forward Procurement Schedule (FPS) sets out the details of a proposed service requirement by the Department of Health for the establishment of a Carer Support Program for People Caring for Individuals Experieincing a Suicidal Crisis. This FPS is intended to provide information to any interested party with capability and capacity to provide the services in any request for Offer (RFO) that may be published on the QTender website.

Activities under this proposed service may include:

* Develop and implement a governance framework for the place-based approach and services within the Agreement including consultation/engagement with the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch, Queensland Health
* Undertake a national desktop audit of services and programs currently available to carers (of individuals with a mental health condition and/or experiencing a suicidal crisis) that could be considered for a collaborative service delivery partnership
* Undertake a review of the empirical literature to develop an evidence informed service delivery concept
* Utilise an evidence based program management methodology for the development, testing and evaluation of a carer support program
* Develop a program plan utilising a program logic framework
* Develop a service delivery model in consultation with the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch, Queensland Health
* Test the service delivery model
* Evaluate the service delivery model
* Provide reports amd recommendations.
