Catholic Diocese of Bathurst (Client) are looking to develop their site at No. 48 Broad Head Road, Spring Flat, Mudgee 40. DP 756894 48 (the Site) to develop a new secondary School for St Matthews College (the Project). The development of the new secondary school will allow for the relocation of the existing secondary school at Lewisham Street, Mudgee.

The Site has been purchased and is subject to a State Significant Development Planning Approval (SSDA). The Client wishes to proceed with the design, planning submission and construction of the project on the Site. The client is committed to a Term 1, Day 1 2021 operational date. 

The Site is a greenfield site. Whilst being a greenfield site it adjoins an area of semi-rural / semi-urban development, which has also been earmarked for future urban land release and residential development. Mudgee (and the site) sits within the Mid-Western Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA).

This call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from head contractors is intended to allow the client to short-list a panel of tenderers for an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase of the project. Further details on the ECI phase will be provided in the EOI document. 

Shortlisted contractors will have the requisite experience, qualifications / licensing, capacity and capability to undertake a project of this nature.
