Tender Description
The scope of works shall include;
1) In accordance with NSW Government Telco Authority, Guidelines for Telecommunications Structures, design & construct a 40m high 4-legged square based free standing hot dip galvanized mild steel lattice tower, complete with header frame, work platforms and lightning protection to accommodate the antennas listed in section 3.10 as well as a 100% structural redundancy for future growth.
2) The tower shall be supplied with an internal ladder system, complete with ‘LadSafe’ fall arrest system, safety cage, ladder anti climb system
3) Provide a structural analysis report, with the allowance for 100% structural redundancy for future loads
4) Design, supply, install, test and commission a site earthing system.
5) Design & construct the reinforced concrete tower footings (to engineer’s details) and in accordance with the Geotechnical report referred to in Clause 2.4.1 Principle supplied item.
6) Supply & install cable, conduit, propriety cable tray, propriety support brackets as required.
7) Supply & install 3.0m x 2.5m equipment shed.
8) Install MCWS principal supplied equipment identified within this document.
9) Supply and install signage in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice.
10) Implement safety and traffic control measures during all construction work activities.
11) Remove all rubbish, repair any damage incurred and reinstate areas to natural state.
12) Produce work as executed drawings
13) General Conditions of contract for design & construct, AS4902 – 2000 will be applied with engagement of contract.
