Victorian Government Legal Services Panel Tender

The current Victorian Legal Services Panel (Panel) contract expires 30 June 2019 for all 13 Areas of Law (AoLs) under the Panel arrangements.

The Victorian Government is seeking to refresh four of the 13 AoLs under the existing Panel contract through an open market tender approach. These are:
* Employment, Industrial and Equal Opportunity AoL;
* Construction and Infrastructure Projects AoL; and
* General Commercial, and Contracts & Procurement AoLs, which will be merged.

The refreshed Panel will commence on 1 July, 2019 for a fixed term of three years to 30 June 2022.

The firms in the remaining nine AoLs are not subject to this tender process and their participation in the Panel arrangements is expected to continue from 1 July 2019.

In relation to the forthcoming Panel refresh, the Department of Justice and Community Safety will be holding a pre tender industry session on 19 February 2019. The Industry briefing provide all potential Tenderers with information relating to the tender process, and background information for refreshing the four AoLs. Note it is a requirement for each firm to attend the briefing to indicate their interest for submitting a proposal.
* The Request for Tender (RFT) documents will be released on Wednesday, 20 February 2019 to those firms who attend the industry briefing, and at the briefing register their interest to submit a proposal for any of the retendered AoLs included in this RFT process. The RFT responses are due by 2pm on Tuesday, 12 March 2019.
* Interested service providers are requested to please register up to two attendees no later than 12 noon 18 February 2019.
* Information regarding this tender process will be made available on the Vic Tenders website from Wednesday, 20 February 2019.
