Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) currently has an Enhanced Technology Implementation (ETI) Project underway. The ETI project is currently integrating the Grants Management System (GMS) and the Financial Management System (FMIS) via a new reporting and dashboard platform which will provide information accuracy in both systems.

A successful integration necessitates revision to the ARENA's document management policy and changes to existing process. The paperless office is as much about culture and work practices as it is about technology. In order to ensure the ARENA's document management and records management culture and practice are developed in accordance with compliance requirements, organisational requirement and with minimal impact to users to reduce dependencies on paper increase digital assets. Preferred approach requires to be people centric approach.
