3/ MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OPERATION

Lycée Condorcet - The French School of Sydney Limited is a company providing education under the name of The French School of Sydney Limited. The school accommodates 1007 students and is located on an 8,441-square metre developed land in Maroubra and is attached to the City of Randwick. Lycée Condorcet is a registered, independent school. It belongs to the network of French Schools Abroad (AEFE) which comprises 595 schools around the world.

A first extension project enabled the completion of educational and catering facilities; in 2018, it was complemented with a renovation project of the existing buildings. In the frame of the new extension project, Lycée Condorcet has decided to build additional educational and sporting facilities – especially primary school classrooms, a gross motor room, and an indoor gymnasium – to raise capacity to 1325 students. The construction of an underground parking of approximately 50 car spaces is also planned.
