Strathfield Council invites tenders from eligible contractors for the upgrade of the interior of the Strathfield Main Library at 65-67 Rochester Street, Homebush.

Strathfield Council has reviewed the current library and information services and is looking to:
* Redevelop the interior infrastructure to maximise space and uses for all sections of the community in relation to library, information and cultural services.
* Provide gallery space with a digital wall, common room, meeting rooms, study rooms and spaces for both quiet and group study, versatile space for multipurpose use to enhance social engagement, age appropriate spaces, multimedia space and tech tab, collection spaces and lounge areas and reducing noise levels between floors.
