This Expression of Interest (EoI) is for the selection of qualified Provider(s) to supply and install solar PV systems for residential solar programs run by the Moreland Energy Foundation (MEFL) in both Victoria and NSW. MEFL is experiencing growth in metropolitan council areas. We are dedicated to expanding our services to regional council areas and accordingly seek to diversify our supplier partnerships.

Residential programs are delivered through consumer facing brands Our Energy Future in NSW and Positive Charge in Victoria. The aim of these programs is to provide trustworthy energy advice and broker quality energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions at competitive prices, for members of the community. We work with local government to promote our services and we place a high value on maintaining strong relationships with our partner councils. We also promote our services directly to consumers.

MEFL is a not-for-profit organisation established in December 2000 by the Moreland City Council, with the purpose of supporting local action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the Moreland community. We now work nationally both through our Positive Charge program, as well as on projects and programs with local, state and Federal government.

The successful solar Provider(s) will be CEC accredited solar retailers who will be selected on the basis of:
* service offering
* customer service
* capacity and locality
* quality and warranty of system products
* understanding and compatibility with the MEFL customer focused business model
* ability to commit to timely and accurate reporting, as well as pricing.

MEFL's Positive Charge program has been operating for over six years in Victoria and almost two years in NSW. The program rapidly expanded to cover 24 local government areas in VIC and NSW. Since February 2013, MEFL has facilitated just under 3000 residential solar PV installation sales totalling 11,728 kW of installed solar. The program generates an average of more than 60 leads per week, with peak periods generating over 200 leads per week.

This EoI will remain open until 15 December 2019. Selection and on-boarding will take place as suitable applications are received. MEFL seeks to build capacity in order to service areas across metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria and NSW.
