Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites tenders for inclusion in the NBC Consultancy Services Panel (Panel). Tenderers will need to demonstrate they have the necessary qualifications, ability and experience to provide the required services to Council. Council requires the provision of the Consultancy Services over a range of disciplines as listed below;

SERVICE REQUIRED
*Sub-Panel 1 Coastal Engineering
Investigate, predict and report on coastal conditions and coastal processes. Design of structures to allow for effects of severe storms, elevated water levels, winds, tides and currents etc.
*Sub-Panel 2 Geotechnical Engineering
Investigate and report on ground conditions, natural behaviour, response to artificially changed conditions and capacity to support civil and architectural structures.
*Sub-Panel 3 Surveyors
Provision of general surveying services, such as; land surveys, building surveys, construction surveys, property boundary surveys, land subdivision & management, net lettable areas, engineering surveys and geographic information systems etc
*Sub-Panel 4 Civil Engineering
Investigations and reporting, design and documentation of civil structures such as bridges, dams, retaining walls, reservoirs, car parks and roads.
*Sub-Panel 5 Heritage Consultants
Preparation of conservation management plans, heritage impact statements, heritage assessments, archival recordings, heritage curtilage studies and design advice. Advice on development works and repairs.
*Sub-Panel 6 Environmental Consultants
Assessment, analysis, evaluation and reporting of environmental issues or identified degradation, interference or conflicts, relevant to natural habitats, built environments or proposed developments including but not limited to environmental impact assessment and major review of environmental factors including the formulation of appropriate action to be taken.
*Sub-Panel 7 Irrigation Designers / Consultants
Design and document irrigation systems within sports fields, reserves and community facilities.
*Sub-Panel 8 Planning Consultants
Specialist advice, design and documentation related to the urban environment to ensure the orderly development of communities, including but not limited to preliminary planning advice, feasibility studies, statements of environmental effects, modification reports. Attendance and determination hearings and court proceedings
*Sub-Panel 9 Road Design Engineering
Design and document of requirements for roads within the LGA.
*Sub-Panel 10 Fire Engineers
Design and documentation of requirements for sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, hose reels, alarms and access. Including but not limited to Preparation of performance solutions to achieve NCC compliance. Existing building assessments. C10 fire accreditation required.
*Sub-Panel 11 BCA Consultants
Preparation of reports and provide regulatory advice and design consultancy services including BCA compliance certification
*Sub-Panel 12 Access Consultants
Specialists advice, preparation of reports, design and documentation related to access within the built environment.
*Sub-Panel 13 Hydraulic Consultants -incl. Town Gas, LPG and Fire Services
Design and documentation of hydraulic services within buildings and as site services to buildings, incl. water, sewerage, drainage, stormwater, town gas, LPG and fire hydrants and hose reels
*Sub-Panel 14 Electrical Engineering & Lighting Design
Design and documentation of requirements for indoor and outdoor lighting, power, HV/LV reticulation and switchboards, control, uninterruptable power supplies, generators, fire detection and voice and data cabling for site services, architectural facilities and buildings for civil works
*Sub-Panel 15 Mechanical Consultants
Design and documentation of requirements for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, domestic hot water, non-potable water, cool rooms, steam, medical/industrial gases, building management and control systems for architectural facilities and buildings for civil works
*Sub-Panel 16 Lift consultants
Specialist advice, design and documentation related to elevators, escalators, moving walkways and other conveyances that move people.
*Sub-Panel 17 Traffic Engineers
Preparation of reports, advice, design and documentation related to traffic flow on and around sites
*Sub-Panel 18 Quantity Surveyors
Cost planning and estimating for architectural facilities including cash flows, cost management, cost forecasting of contract documentation and claim assessments
*Sub-Panel 19 Utility Engineers
Design and documentation of public utilities that provide power, water, gas and sewer services to communities.
*Sub-Panel 20 Aquatic Ecology Consultants
