Regional Development Australia Far North Queensland and Torres Strait (RDA FNQ&TS) is seeking expressions of interest from consultants or businesses to undertake a feasibility study and develop a business case into the production of green-waste compost on a commercial scale for use in agriculture along the east coast of Queensland.

The project will identify the cost/benefit to the agriculture industry, the Great Barrier Reef; and the disposal of green waste.

Consultant work is expected to commence June 2019 with delivery of final reports due May 2022.
