The owner of a 4-storey building in central Hamilton is looking for a main contractor to lead the internal demolition and refit of the upper 3 floors of sleeping accommodation.

Works include demolition of existing inter-tenancy walls, and rebuild of fire-rated inter-tenancy walls including installation of new bathrooms and kitchens. The roof will be fully replaced.

The building is approximately 2500 m2.

The ground floor retail tenancies will remain operational throughout the project.

The ideal contractor will have sufficient resources to complete the works efficiently, and to a high standard, minimising the impact on the ground floor tenancies and hotel. They will also have a reliable network of local resources in Waikato / Bay of Plenty region.

The successful contractor must be able to commence work at the end of 2019.
