Tender Description
The first year, 2014, will consist of desktop geological studies, permitting and planning for drilling activities to commence in 2015. In 2015 and 2016 Origin intends to drill five wells altogether.
Origin is currently focusing on its 2015 drilling program with work being carried out on permitting and regulatory approvals, lease design, well design and planning.
Opportunities to provide goods and services to Origin for the Beetaloo Basin Project are being scoped now. These opportunities will include:
- Contracting of an oil and gas specification drilling rig to drill the three wells
- Auxiliary services such as those listed below will be required to support the drilling rig (contracted directly to Origin or through the drilling contractor)
- Civil construction for roads
- Civil construction for drilling leases
- Water trucking
- Camp services
- Catering
- Logistics (both personnel movement and materials)
- Machine shops for repairs and maintenance
- Environmental support services
Interested companies are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) against the 'Beetaloo Basin Project - Exploration Phase - Any Opportunities' package listed below. Updates on project progression will be posted periodically until specific work packages are released.
