Request for Proposal – Consulting Services

The Indian Ocean territories regional development Organisation Inc is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the sustainable development of Australia’s Indian Ocean Territories of Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) islands.

The Regional Development Organisation has recently prepared Strategic Plans for Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Both Strategic Plans identify tourism as a key Opportunity to Support economic growth and create jobs.

The Hon Nola Marine MP, Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories has provided funding to the Regional Development Organisation to engage a specialist consultant with demonstrated capability and expertise in tourism, economic analysis and strategic planning to undertake a review of tourism in the Indian Ocean Territories of Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) islands and to develop a Tourism Action Plan to grow the industry in the region.
