Tasmanian Alkaloids Pty Ltd invites Expression of Interest from suitably qualified and equipped contractors for the management of controlled waste (Spent Marc and WWTP solids). The controlled wastes need to be collected from the premises at 160 Birralee Road Westbury and disposed via land spreading on agricultural land. The expression of interest need to be consider on the site pick up, carting and spreading controlled wasted.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
The ability to manage bulk commercial quantities of controlled waste over a 24/7 week cycle.
Need to be (or in the process of obtaining) registration as a controlled waste transporter with EPA Tasmnania and authorised to transport and handle the specific cotrolled waste categorizes R140 and K130.
Comply with an EPA approved land spreading management plan for the management of the specific controlled waste.
The ability to meet the entry to site requirement to Tasmania Alkaloids.
Have an appropriate controlled waste tracking system in place to record how the wastes are managed including weights disposal location. etc.
