StepCare is a digital mental health ‘stepped care’ service for Australian adults, developed by the Black Dog Institute. The StepCare Service supports GPs to provide timely, cost-efficient and low intensity early intervention and treatment for Australians with anxiety or depression.

Black Dog Institute is interested in refining its recruitment, engagement, and implementation strategies for StepCare in order to target the best potential utilizers of the service and to ensure successful uptake. A variety of factors should be considered, including literature regarding implementation of mental health and digital tools into general practice, and perspectives from GPs.
