Tender Details
Tender Description
Detailed design, testing, and construction of four (number of) steel hull Transhipment Shuttle Vessels (TSV’s).
Vessel Description
The Transhipment Shuttle Vessel (TSV) is a self-unloading bulk carrier used for short transfer of bulk cargo from a shallow water port to a deeper water transhipment point where it is offloaded into an ocean going vessel (OGV). The TSV is equipped with four azimuthing drives at the four corners of the vessel and an integrated diesel electric propulsion and powering system. The machinery spaces and accommodation block are located in the forward part of the vessel. A cargo deadweight of 30,000 tonnes of iron ore at a
specific gravity of 1.95–2.4 at design draft is to be carried on a 7.5 metre draft.
The TSV is to be designed for full seagoing service in deep ballast condition.
Vessel shall be designed and built for lifetime of at least 25 years.
