Tenders are invited to submit prices to complete a comprehensive revaluation of all assets owned and operated by Lower Burdekin Water (LBW). LBW is a category two water authority located in townships of Ayr and Home Hill in North Queensland.

There are approximately 1,500 assets situated throughout an area of around 41,800 hectares which are to be revalued as part of the contract scope. The asset types range from buildings, plant and equipment, farm access crossings, water culverts/controls, outlet structures, pipelines, water control gates, pumping stations, electrical switch houses, irrigation channels, earth barrages and flow meters.

The contract will include an initial comprehensive revaluation which is to be completed by the 29th of February 2020 and an interim revaluation to be completed each year in the following four (4) intervening years between comprehensive revaluations. To provide clarity, the second comprehensive revaluation is not part of this contract.

All revaluations shall be completed and signed by a certified practising valuer (CPV) with the Australian Property Institute and a Registered Valuer with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland and adhere to the relevant accounting standards.
