Coro at 88 is an established NSW registered club located within Burwood Council. The club has entered a joint venture agreement with the property developer The Bay Group which involves the full redevelopment of the club' site into a multi million-dollar mixed use commercial and residential development.
The development includes the provision of a brand-new state of the art registered club including a 175 seat bar and eatery, and gaming room facility. There is also an adjoining 55 seat cafe with a dedicated 6 metre wide shopfront providing direct access to Burwood Road. The club is scheduled for opening in mid 2020.
This exciting new hospitality venue is ideally located to capture the strong footfall of Burwood Road driven by the nearby train station, the Westfield Shopping Centre and the surrounding commercial and residential precincts. The site also has a 60 spot basement carpark dedicated to the club's customers.
Coro@88 is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Contract Caterers that are willing to join them on this exciting journey and realise their potential.
The successful caterer will control and operate the food operation of the designated club bar and eatery and the adjoining cafe which will be provided on a fully fitted out basis, including a functional commercial kitchen that can cater up to 230 people. It will be a 7 day breakfast, lunch and dinner operation and the successful caterer will have the opportunity to provide input into the kitchen layout, equipment and other key dining room design specifications.
The successful candidate will:
· Have a passion for modern Australian cuisine and ensuring a cafe culture
· Proven experience in providing quality and consistent meals and beverage in a fast-paced environment as well as providing catering services for functions and events
· Be able to work with Club Management to drive visitation, customer retention and club advocacy via the delivery of an optimal customer experience
· Be customer service focused with respect to both front and back of house requirements
· Have the relevant qualifications, accreditations and insurances in place
