Mercy Human Services Limited (MercyCare) are progressing the construction of a new 123 bed aged care facility on their existing site in Maddington.

The project has been allocated the required aged care bed licences, forward works have been undertaken and construction commencement is to occur by mid 2020. OP Properties is the appointed Development Manager.

Mercycare would like to invite suitably qualified builders to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to construct the above mentioned project. The EOI's received will be evaluated and used to inform the shortlist of builders that will be invited to tender on the project.

Your EOI should at a minimum contain the following information regarding your company, its profile and experience:
· Company details: Name, ABN, Address, Registration Number
· Company profile and capability statement
· Relevant experience, recently completed projects and qualifications

The key requirements and characteristics the Client is looking for include:
· Proven OH&S systems and track record of delivering projects safely
· Strong relevant experience with similar size and type of projects in the Perth area
· Demonstrated ability to be price competitive
· Demonstrated ability to manage the design team under a Design and Construct contract to get the best outcome for the client
· Proven track record of completing projects on time, within budget and to a high standard of finish
· Financial capacity to deliver a project of this size
· Has experience in the construction of Aged Care Facilities
· Professional operator who maintains a long term view towards building relationships with clients and other project team members
· Experience in achieving sustainability initiatives beyond base requirements including third party Green Star certification

The key milestone dates relevant to the builder are as follows:
· EOI Submissions Received: 5pm WST Friday the 8th of November 2019
· Select parties invited to tender: December 2019
· Tender close: February 2020
· Preferred Builder Selected: March 2020
· Contract Awarded: April 2020
