Wagait Shire Council is seeking nominations from suitably qualified persons for the positions of Chair, Audit Committee and Community Member, Audit Committee.

The Audit Committee meets quarterly, is an advisory committee to Council and provides advice on internal control processes, the effectiveness of financial and corporate governance and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Expressions of Interest, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, in the form of a cv and cover letter detailing background and experience should be emailed to ceo@wagait.nt.gov.au or delivered by hand to Council’s Office.

Applications should be submitted no later than close of business Friday 8th November 2019.
