The Williams Bowling Club has written to the Shire seeking a three (3) year extension to the lease of vacant land at Lot 9000 Albany Highway.

It uses the land for cropping and grazing purposes to assist with fundraising to go towards its self-supporting loan and other projects.

Before Council makes a decision on this request it would like to know if there are any other community groups or sporting clubs in Williams that would like to be considered in this matter.
