Marathon Health Currently have a number of differing information systems to support the operations. Some of these provide interfacing with each other whilst others rely on manual transfer of data.
There is also a heavy reliance on the use of excel spreadsheets to manage key functions of the business. Quite a few of these systems are single purpose, such as booking a fleet vehicle, managing risks or storing policy and procedure documentation. Some of these systems have been modified to suit organisational requirements meaning they may have become difficult to support and maintain.
Not all systems are easily accessible when working remotely.
As an organisation we are undertaking a full review of our systems to improve our workflow, efficiencies and to provide staff with a more user friendly environment. The ideal solution is to have a few key systems to support and enable our staff in fulfilling their daily work.
