Goulburn Valley Health (GVH) is a public owned regional hospital located in Shepparton, Victoria as established under the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic). GVH is a multi-campus facility providing a broad range of  hospital and community services throughout the Hume Region. The Shepparton campus, located at Graham Street Shepparton has 266 beds providing acute medical, surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics, rehabilitation, psychiatric and intensive coronary care.

GVH currently has three (3) operating rooms and a day procedure room within the Perioperative department at the Shepparton campus. As part of the GVH Redevelopment these numbers will increase  to a total of seven (7) operating/procedure rooms. Four (4) new operating theatres are scheduled for completion in June 2020, and the existing three (3) operating theatres will be subsequently closed to permit the commencement of refurbishment works within the perioperative department.

The health service is seeking responses to this Invitation to Supply for the supply of laparoscopic tower equipment as outlined in Part A.2 – Specifications. This tender scope covers GVH’s immediate  clinical requirements for use in the existing three (3) operating theatres and this equipment will be transferred to the new operating theatre complex in June 2020.
