Through this Request for Quotation (RFQ) Pacific Link Housing is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the purpose of 20-bathroom renovations. A key outcome of this RFQ is to establish a competitive pricing framework through bulk discounting of PLH’s planned maintenance requirements.
It is the intention where possible, to appoint one contractor as the preferred supplier for the specification of this RFQ.
In addition to the renovation it is essential that the tenderer be able to:
- supply a suitable temporary ensuite/portable bathroom for each property for the duration of the renovation period;
- arrange for the safe and professional removal of any asbestos in a property
It is essential that the tenderer be able to cover all areas that Pacific Link Housing services. PLH cover six Local Government Areas – Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens.
PLH’s housing portfolio consists of a mixed configuration of ground level bedsits, unit complexes, houses, townhouses and villas. Some properties are supported by agencies with managers/carers on site (including group homes) and access is arranged by the responsible agency for that tenant.
The successful respondent will be required to comply with PLH contractual terms and conditions, including Code of Conduct, conflict of interest policy, privacy and confidentiality requirements and workplace health and safety obligations. Police checks will also be required.
