Tender Description
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee (GORCC) is seeking quotes from suitably qualified consultants to complete an assessment of the cliff stability along approximately 11km of coastline between Torquay and Aireys Inlet in Victoria.
The works are to include the following activities:
- Task 1 - A review of previous cliff stability reports.
- Task 2 - An on ground 'visual' geotechnical assessment of cliffs within the study area.
- Task 3 - A cliff stability risk assessment addressing risks to people as well as built assets.
- Identification of high-risk cliff areas ("hot spots").
- Development of erosion trigger points and cliff setbacks.
- Task 4 - An audit of GORCC's cliff risk signage.
- Task 5 - A review of GORCC's cliff monitoring methodology.
