The NCI commenced on 1 July 2019 with the aim of providing national leadership in the delivery of high quality, evidence-based career development to enable Australians of all ages and stages to make informed decisions about their learning, training and work pathways.
The Digital Platform Project (DPP) is the flagship project of the NCI. The objective of the DPP is to design, deliver and manage a careers-focused digital platform, which resolves issues around the inconsistency and navigation of careers development information in Australia.
A successful outcome for the DPP would be the delivery of a user driven digital platform that enables Australians to navigate and obtain the information they need to achieve productive, rewarding and fulfilling careers.
In seeking innovative solutions for this platform, the NCI is implementing a ‘DPP Hackathon’ on 14 and 15 January 2020 and is inviting Digital Marketplace Suppliers (DMS) with the relevant expertise to participate in this over two days to ideate solutions for the DPP based on user research.
Following the DPP Hackathon, the NCI will release its Request for Quotation for the design, development, delivery and optional ongoing maintenance of the DPP. This RFQ will be posted to the Digital Marketplace in mid-January
