Tactile Arts is calling for expressions of interest from event specialists to develop a feasibility study around the organisations 50th anniversary celebrations planned for 2023.

The 50th anniversary presents an exceptional opportunity to celebrate the work of this important arts organisation over the past 50 years and to present a truly distinctive festival, incorporating multiple events within the 50th anniversary year, celebrating the past, present and future of creative practice in the Northern Territory, including participation from local, national and international artists.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

In order to secure funding for the 50th anniversary festival a feasibility study must be undertaken with the following objectives:

• determine the overall direction of the content of this program or festival
• develop an ambitious draft program, or series of programs appropriate to purpose
• consider potential venues and sites
• assess the potential viability of such a program of celebration both of content and financing
• establish funding requirements
• confirm potential sources of government and non-government funding
• determine staffing requirements including a Director
