On behalf of Aboriginal Traditional Owners, the Northern Land Council seeks Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified persons for the development of a business plan and strategy related to issues arising from the Blue Mud Bay High Court decision.

The successful candidate will produce a report that covers a range of issues related to processes arising from the Blue Mud Bay case, including, but not restricted to, financial and economic analyses; Aboriginal involvement in the NT fishing and related industries; inter-governmental and inter-sectoral relationships and legal and governance issues. Further information will be available on request.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate high level knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal land and sea rights issues in the NT and beyond, fisheries industry management, Aboriginal involvement in natural resource management and an understanding of Aboriginal society and culture in the NT.
