The Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC) Ltd seeks quotes for professional consultant services to scope, manage and deliver a program to improve heatwave preparedness and response in Western Sydney (the Heat Smart Western Sydney program). The program will be delivered on behalf of a collective of participating Western Sydney councils and the Western Sydney Local Health District with funding from the Office of Emergency Management. The aim for the 18-month program, is to build Western Sydney’s resilience to extreme heat and heatwave events by: reviewing current policy, co-designing better practice, and delivering professional and community resilience workshops.

This project will deliver on priorities identified under the Turn Down the Heat Strategy and Action Plan 2018. Further information on WSROC is available on the website at wsroc.com.au

WSROC anticipates that the process will result in the appointment of a Contractor, ranked in order of preference based on the evaluation criteria. It is expected that the highest ranked contractor will obtain the work available under the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
