WentWest are committed to commissioning the very best health care services across the region with one of our key priorities being Aboriginal Health. The Integrated Team Care (ITC) program offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have a chronic health condition extra support to manage those conditions, through a team of Care Coordinators and Outreach workers, financial support for out of pocket expenses, access to specialist and allied health providers, medical aids, equipment, and transport to attend medical appointments, as needed.

While the funding is currently only for a 12-month period, we anticipate funding will be made available in subsequent years for this program and would like to commission a provider who is looking to develop a long-term working relationship with WentWest. Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO) or organisations who have experience working with Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander communities are particularly encouraged to review the tender and consider applying to deliver this much needed and valued service in Western Sydney. We are committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our community, so wish to encourage local and out of region organisations with the skills and commitment to consider applying.

We will be holding an information session on Monday 16th March at 2.00pm to provide an overview of the service, answer questions regarding the service to be delivered, and an overview of how to prepare for completing a tender bid.
