The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) is responsible for the management of coastal crown land reserves and caravan parks between Torquay and Marengo.
The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is offering a contract for the staged demolition and disposal of the Three Tier Lookouts in Jan Juc. The contract also includes survey, preparation of certified shop drawings and supply of materials and construction of a replacement lookouts, stairways and boardwalks as per the existing structure onsite. The design of the replacement lookouts shall be a like for like replacement of the existing structure with a small modification to allow removal of handrail segments for events on the central lookout. The works also include the provision of weekend access to allow the community to access beaches and surf breaks on weekends. The objective of this specification is to ensure that the designated works are undertaken in a competent and professional manner in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards and Coastal Management requirements.
