The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) is responsible for the management of coastal crown land reserves and caravan parks between Torquay and Marengo.
The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is offering a contract for the staged demolition and disposal of the beach access known as "Little Rock" in Jan Juc. The contract also includes supply of materials, design and construction of a replacement access stairway including landings and footings. The design of the replacement access stairway shall be a like for like replacement of the existing structure and certified shop drawings will be provided by the contractor. The works also include the provision of weekend access to allow the community to access beaches and surf breaks on weekends. The objective of this specification is to ensure that the designated works are undertaken in a competent and professional manner in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards and Coastal Management requirements.
